Adapted from *Nazi Doctors and Psychiatrists*, the story focuses on the end of World War II, specifically the Nuremberg Trials and the trial of Robert Ley, the leader of the German Labor Front, who later committed suicide in prison. The narrative unfolds from the perspective of U.S. military psychiatrist Douglas Kelley, who was assigned to assess the Nazi leaders.
