The new 25,000 square-foot, two-story steel structure building is an arts- and innovation-centered hub for youth, helping to enrich the lives of more than 200 kids and teens each day.
The Club, called TIES for short (an acronym of The Innovation and Expression Studio) will offer spaces for visual, performing, and culinary arts. The Club includes a pre-engineered gymnasium and dance studio, dining area, culinary arts kitchen, 2D/3D arts studio with LeoVegas bonusa kiln, gallery and maker spaces, offices, a loft area with a small cafe, and lab spaces for design, tech, music production, and film and video.
The exterior consists of corrugated metal panels, brick veneer, insulated metal panels, and aluminum composite panels. The structure features standing seam metal roofing with a modified bitumen roofing system. Site work includes a new storm damage drainage system, detention pond, 49-space parking lot, ornamental fencing, concrete sidewalks, and a planned culinary garden.
